According to Plantarium it is a terrestrial herbaceous plant with erect stems, simple alternate leaves and flower heads; the fruits are achenes with a pappus. Records are known from the Northern Caucasus foreland: along meadow margins of deciduous forests and in the foothills of Elbrus.Plantarium
