Description

No description of this species is available in the accessible sources. According to Plantarium it is a perennial terrestrial herb with ascending and erect, felted shoots; the leaves are simple, obovate to elliptic, sessile and toothed. The flower heads are borne in corymbs, the florets yellow and orange, the heads 2 to 5 cm across. It grows on sea shores, stony ground and open sands and is used as an ornamental. Records are known from the Russian Far East — Primorye, Kamchatka, Sakhalin, the Kuriles, Magadan and southern Chukotka.
