Description
Russula sororia, the sepia brittlegill, is a medium-sized brittlegill with a greyish-brown cap that is distinctly grooved at the margin and becomes very slimy in wet weather. The flesh is white, acrid and unpleasantly smelling. It grows in broad-leaved woodland, often along tracks and at woodland edges, and is inedible. Translated from the German-language Wikipedia.
