Description
Russula grisea (syn. Russula palumbina) is a brittlegill with a steel-grey to grey-lilac cap whose centre often fades to ochre, and cream-coloured gills. The flesh is white and mild, and the mushroom is edible. It grows in broad-leaved woodland, most often under beech and hornbeam. Translated from the German-language Wikipedia.
