Description

Phaeolepiota aurea, the golden bootleg, is a rare but striking, robustly built mushroom and the only member of its genus. The cap and stem are covered with a golden-ochre, granular coating. It grows in nutrient-rich places — in tall herbs, along ditches and at woodland edges. Translated from the German-language Wikipedia.
