Description
A perennial herbaceous plant 20 to 50 cm tall in the borage family. The stems are erect, round and hollow, often much branched in the upper half. The leaves are arranged spirally, elongated to lanceolate, 5 to 15 cm long, grey with short glandular hairs and bristles; the lower ones narrow into petiole-like bases, the upper ones clasp the stem.
