Description

Leccinum percandidum is an edible bolete of the genus Leccinum. It grows in pine woods mixed with spruce and other trees in damp places, and in dry summers appears in shady aspen stands. It is rather rare but occasionally fruits very abundantly. Season: June to September. Translated from the Russian-language Wikipedia.
