Description
A perennial herbaceous plant with a vertical rhizome. The stem is ascending, 15 to 30 cm tall, entirely glabrous below and leafy only in its upper part. The basal leaves are pentagonal, divided almost to the base into rhombic segments, with petioles up to 20 cm long. The flowers are deep violet.
