Description
Chamaenerion angustifolium is a perennial herbaceous flowering plant in the willowherb family, Onagraceae, known as fireweed or rosebay willowherb. The reddish stems are usually simple, erect and smooth, 0.5 to 2 m high, with scattered alternate, narrowly lanceolate leaves. The inflorescence is a symmetrical terminal raceme blooming from bottom to top; the flowers are 2 to 3 cm across, with four magenta to pink petals.Wikipedia
