Description

No description of this species is available in the accessible sources. According to Plantarium it is a terrestrial herbaceous plant with erect shoots, simple alternate leaves and flower heads; the fruits are achenes with a pappus. Records are known from the western Caucasus — the Lago-Naki plateau and the slopes of Oshten. The species is named after the Georgian botanist Revaz Gagnidze.
