Description
Centaurea behen is a species of Centaurea that grows in the wild under full sun in Western and Central Asia. The plant's leaves near ground-level are relatively large; rising above them are branching stalks that carry much smaller leaves and small yellow flower heads. Including the upper stalks, the plant is typically a little less than a metre high. The roots are thick, brown outside and white inside; dried and ground, they are used for traditional herbal medicine.Wikipedia
