Description
Armillaria lutea is a species of honey fungus in the family Physalacriaceae. The fruit bodies grow in clusters on stumps and root wood; the stipe is markedly club-shaped and swollen towards the base, which is what the Russian name "thick-legged honey fungus" refers to.
