Description
Pulsatilla vulgaris, the pasqueflower, is a herbaceous perennial of the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae). It grows to 15—30 cm high and up to 40 cm when fruit-bearing. It grows in sparsely wooded pine forests or meadows, often on a sunny slope with calcium-rich soil, and flowers in early spring.Wikipedia
