Description
Amanita alba grows from early July to mid-September in broad-leaved and mixed woods with birch, in grass, on the ground and among shrubs, rarely and singly but every year. The mushroom is entirely white and, unlike the true amanitas, has no ring on the stem. Translated from a Russian-language source.
